More About Dr. Kruse

My true passion is caring for patients, but I also enjoy research and teaching. I served as a research clinician for the Biomechanics of Low Back Flexion Distraction Therapy study performed at NUHS and I am currently involved in the Cervical Cox® Technic flexion-distraction study at Loyola University Medical Center. I also enjoy publishing studies documenting some of my clinical successes and interesting cases. You can find all this information on my ever-growing website.
Originally from Long Island and having attended SUNY @ Stony Brook, I have a passion for the ocean and eating seafood. I spent my high school years on a farm in Illinois and developed a green thumb and a love for animals. I was on track to be a veterinarian but decided to treat patients who verbalize their issues. I have been on the Homewood Beautification committee and the yard committee for my condominium association. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, gardening, travelling, and discovering all that our beautiful city of Chicago has to offer.
